What pieces of the official scout uniform are mandatory?
The official scout uniform shirt, the neckerchief, and the belt. Pants/shorts may be any brand. Kindergarten – 4th graders may wear blue pants, jeans, or khakis. 5th graders may wear any type of green pants.
How much does the Cub Scouts program cost?
Fees for Cub Scouts are the national dues (187.55) which covers scout insurance, and the Pack dues ($80.00). If this is your scout’s first year, an application fee is also required.
What do Pack dues cover?
Pack dues cover belt loops, pins, and awards for the scout. They also cover leader training fees, campout food, and any needs the pack may have (such as equipment).
When are fee payments due?
For first year scouts, the application fee and the national dues are due upon sign-up. Pack dues are due October 14th
For returning scouts, the national dues are due yearly on the date of sign-up. Adults should receive a notification in my.scouting.org reminding them to pay national dues. Pack dues are due on October 14th.
